Rollout of PhilGEPS Trainings in Region VI for FY 2012 has commenced

Thirty seven (33) participants from both national government agencies and LGUs in Region VI attended the first PhilGEPS rollout Training class for 2012 in Iloilo City on April 19-20, 2012.  Held at the Western Visayas College of Science  and Technology ( WVCST) computer laboratory, the two-day training was graced by no less than Director Alfonso B. Bedonia, Jr., Regional Director of DBM Region 6, who welcomed the participants,  while Edgar L. Javison  certified trainers from DBM Region VI, served as trainer.

                The rollout is made possible via the partnership between Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) and PhilGEPS's Memorandum of Agreement with eBlackBoards Solutions (eBBSI) which acts as its national training secretariat all over the Philippines.

                For the month of May, the targetted participants will come mostly from the barangays in Iloilo City.  The schedules are as follows:
